At Agile Round Table I ask for help on this talk. Everyone was throwing out great advice, and you are going to here some of that advice. When it got to Jim's turn, he was quiet for a moment and then he spoke, "I don't really like this topic, But any type of change has to start with RESPECT. This reminded me of Kent Beck successes and failures with XP and him adding Respect as the fifth value.

Give Respect

Most people wants to be a good. We share many of the same values.

Earn Respect

Always be for the good of the company. Think about how your changes fit in.
