Isn't it food? That isn't an emerging technology!
The Raspberry Pi is a low cost, credit-card sized computer that plugs into a computer monitor or TV, and uses a standard keyboard and mouse. It is a capable little device that enables people of all ages to explore computing, and to learn how to program in languages like Scratch and Python. It’s capable of doing everything you’d expect a desktop computer to do, from browsing the internet and playing high-definition video, to making spreadsheets, word-processing, and playing games.
What’s more, the Raspberry Pi has the ability to interact with the outside world, and has been used in a wide array of digital maker projects, from music machines and parent detectors to weather stations and tweeting birdhouses with infra-red cameras. The creators of the Raspberry Pi want to see the Raspberry Pi being used by kids all over the world to learn to program and understand how computers work
The Raspberry Pi was created by the Raspberry Pi Foundation, a charity organization based in Caldecote, United Kingdom.
But the individual brains behind the Raspberry Pi are:
I MUST KNOW MORE!!!!!!
Well, in short, Windows 10 isn't fully supported on this micro-computer just yet. But because the people at Microsoft are so awesome, they created a modified version of Windows to be able to mount and install onto the Raspberry Pi. Neat!
If you use a camera with a Xenon flash, the Raspberry Pi locks up completely and cannot be used until it has been power cycled.
Luckily this issue only applies to Raspberry Pi 2 users, such as myself.
The Raspberry Pi can not run most software, and with only being limited to a modified version of windows 10, Microsoft office just can't be installed.
Let's see the Raspberry Pi 2 in action!
My conclusion
The raspberry pi is almost limitless and can be used to create almost anything, but the small limitations could eventually be iterated out with future version updates of the pi.
