The Last Year and a Half

  • Adopted WCAG 2.0 AA as our goal for all products
  • Achieved it for InQuizitive
  • Improved the workflow for authoring alt text and captions for all frontlist media
  • Streamlined the disability request process

Current Obstacles

  • Disparate, bespoke college standards
  • Outdated models of compliance (VPAT!)
    • Forthcoming: AIM-HE Act, 508 refresh
  • Poor understanding of accessibility across the industry
