Strategy Phase

This phase involves a plan that gives direction to the researcher for the tactical and operational phase of the research.

This phase enables the researcher to conduct his/her research systematically, and to position the research in relation to different general approaches to research.

Tactical Phase

This phase phase involves decisions on how to operationalize the research activities in terms of how to approach the research question more specifically.

Operational Phase

This phase involves decisions on actions that will be taken when implementing the research, including data collection methods and data analysis techniques.
