What is UKnight Interactive?

Business

UKnight Interactive is a company that hosts our website and implements the software which runs our site.

Software

UKnight Interactive is a Content Management System (CMS).

  • It is essentially a computer program that generates a website on the fly.
  • When we want new features added to the site we have to ask them to implement the features.
  • We have control over the content of the site only!

Council Websites

Council websites...the building block of the state system.

Updating Content:

Announcements & Articles

  • These are the basic content blocks for our websites.
  • You do not have to be a programmer to update information!
  • If you know how to use MS Word you can easily update and manage a site
  • Demo

Updating the Membership Roster

  • You must upload a new Roster every time you want to update the membership roster
  • Any member, once the roster is uploaded, can login with their membership number and birthdate and edit their information.

  • Once an event in added to your calendar it is visible on all other calendars in the state
  • This happens automatically
